Citizenship /Cidadania

On March the 4th I became an American citizen like Marcela and dadda. My Baylor family, the Mckinneys got to go with Marcela and I, while dadda was at work. Marcela had a lot of fun with all eyes on her. She played with the flag and clapped her hands every time everybody else did. At one point a music video started playing on a screen, a pretty song about the country. At the chorus it said: and God bless the USA. Marcela had her pacifier in even though we don't let her have it unless she is in bed or going to sleep in the car. But it was a ceremony and I was trying to keep her from being loud. Well, this song started playing, everybody was on their chairs but Marcela was standying up. She started humming and dancing and on the last chorus of the song, when it said USA, she spit her pacifier out, opened her arms and yelled AAAAA. Everybody started laughing and she clapped when she was done. She was very proud of herself.

Ela comecou a dancar e a murmurar.
